Solo Level Up

So can you play solo and level up and if so how does one play solo

The solo mode, aka local play, doesn't give you any XP.

XP doesn't give you much anyway. Just credit points to buy cosmetic stuff, which I like by the way. Every player is given equal playing field. That way if you're bad, you're bad; it doesn't have anything to do with having less access to better gear.

another option is to use the community servers. while there is of course no guarantee that nobody will join, it is one way to do it

Does that mean if i make my own dedicated server i can gain xp and unlock still?
