Beta Reward?

My friend just got a tattoo called "Beta" for being a Beta tester. anyone heard of it? cause I'm not getting one even though we started together.

Im not sure if there are exclusive beta tattoos, but I think the pre-order gave you tattoos, did you do that?

For the BETA players they get a free tattoo for the left and right arm. I wish there was something else like a tag on the rank or if they add patches/insignias then a BETA patch/insignia would be cool because when someone wears a long sleeve you cant see the tattoo.

The Beta tattoo's were given to Beta testers when the game released in 2018, seems odd they would add a pop-up menu after all this time has gone by.

I GOT ONE TODAY AND i COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT DAMN "SKINS" AND USELESS EXTRAS.
I reinstalled it today to check the game status. All maps look the same, as if made with Minecraft. Uninstalled. Back to Insurgency 1.

You should have gotten this tattoo quite a while back (IIRC, at the release of Insurgency: Sandstorm) as long as you participated in the prerelease beta. As far as I know, it was accessible to any player who prepurchased the game.

To be honest, though, I'm not 100% sure if you have to actually have played during the prerelease beta to get the tattoo or if prepurchasing it was sufficient.

I think that has to do with NWI adding the new cosmetic DLCs. They added a pop-up screen which is displayed when you first start the game after getting one of these DLCs. Since the beta tattoo is also a (now unobtainable) DLC, it would make sense to make it show up in that pop-up.

Upset? of course, my hopes, time and money are wasted! Because I have had and still have AMAZING good times with the previous one. No need to hunt dislikers. There are many games that do not improve over time, so CALM DOWN. It's all relative. Forums are not only yours. I will wait for next version. Enjoy and don't get too nervous boys&girls&bottoms:-P

Reinstalled the game on an SSD and lost the tattoos. All my friends had them except me.

Today I got them back... 2 years later almost?
