What do you think of the grease gun?

Personally it was a welcome surprise and it really brought happy memories from DOI. Was unsure of it being in this game but then remembered terrorist use whatever they can get their hands on and the Grease Gun has popped up more then a few times. What do you guys think?

Grease gun for security side, sterling/sten for insurgents
In DOI it was fine gun, just like most ww2 weapons
But here... Its fine for breacher, the only thing is bad, only its iron sight and RoF(well at least no semi recoil like in G3) and i feel like damage is too low for .45, but it still 2-3shots hvy armor, just like always

You got me there i meant to say insurgents but it has been used by special forces in the middle east but some have been bought from the black market or picked up off of fighters. Hard to say which side uses them still although not that frequently used by insurgents but is still unique to see one in there hands. I see why they gave the security the grease gun since special forces still use it and the insurgents the sterling.

I've quite enjoyed it so far. I can't imagine ever using it in PVP, but for Co-op the low recoil and solid accuracy seem to make up for the low damage and rate of fire.

Grease gun, sure! Even a Luger would be a nice addition. But for now I would settle to be able to select any weapon in any class. No idea why NWI made such 'choices' up front for the players.

for now, first get that game up & running again.....loading takes forever! Shame!

Its a fun and welcome addition to the Breacher class. The rate of fire and trigger control make it easy to go full auto or just discharge a single shot. The advanced suppressor is very satisfying.

Makes no sense in my opinion. It's severly outdated and hardly used by any military forces around the world except in rare cases. The Sterling makes a bit of sense, but it is more of a Security forces gun, since it was the MP5 before the MP5 was a thing.
