Bullet drop
As name says, i have question about bullet drop. I remember there was bullet drop, but that was before a lot of time. As the game is changing, Im asking if bullet drop changed too because I tried to fight on long ranges yesterday and have no proof bulletdrop exist here anymore. So if anybody has any proof (video, image,...) bullet drop is present, pls send it here. If some dev acctually send here how is it, it would be best.

https://streamable.com/nueta Here. There's still bullet drop like before. Targets need to be at a VERY long distance for you to feel an actual delay and noticeable drop. Though the drop isn't as severe as say, PUBG or Squad. I'm fine with this because the devs want the shots to feel responsive and snappy.

Different weapons have different drop and it is not as exaggerated like in other games such as Battlefield series where it starts dropping in front of your face.

It only plays role with sidearms firing across the street or in really long range firefights which are rare.

Ok thx for all response!

the first 100 milliseconds it's all hitscan, after that the bullet drops down at 9.81m/s, so the trajectory and hitscan range depends on the muzzle velocity

There is a good youtube video on this topic, directly from one of the developers:

As far as I understood, even the 0.1s hitscan system takes bullet drop into account, just instantly with no travel time.

in the official map we wont notice this ever. For example, an M4 has effective range up to 300m before bullet starts to drop and form an angle. Our LOS barely reach 200m.

there's some modded map with open field up to 400m, try it and see for yourself. Its quite neat tbh. where bullet actually takes time to travel and you will notice it in that distance

There definitely is bullet drop, but for 7.62 NATO ammunition it becomes a thing only at roughly 200 meters. the I think the bullet drop in this game follows real world ballistics quite tightly. If you wanna see noticeable bullet drop, try sniping at Crossing or something like this. Rest assured, you'll notice it.

Ok ill try to go in the corner of map, take tracer ammo and see it. I was mostly scared that "arcadization" of this game removed bullet drop, but not!

Now I tried it and yes, bullet drop is here and I have short video but i cant put it in here. Fact is youre not fighting on long ranges here so if youre really not sniping from very far away, you dont really need to care.

It's nice to have a hit-scan and projectile system mixed, but i'd really really like if they reduce hit-scan time/range a little so bullet drop would become a thing in this game.
