Different weapons have different drop and it is not as exaggerated like in other games such as Battlefield series where it starts dropping in front of your face.
It only plays role with sidearms firing across the street or in really long range firefights which are rare.

As far as I understood, even the 0.1s hitscan system takes bullet drop into account, just instantly with no travel time.
there's some modded map with open field up to 400m, try it and see for yourself. Its quite neat tbh. where bullet actually takes time to travel and you will notice it in that distance
