Indoors shadows are way too dark, any fix for that?
Also some outside shadows are too dark.
Does some video setting cause that?

Is it consistently?
In general the game have problems with gamma balance.
Try going into a dark spot, hit escape and then go back to the game... You may need to try a few times and you will see the brightness changes. It is horrible implementation that has been a problem since beta.

Yes, it's problem with the game design, there is a limit to how much I can change the gamma.
thanks anyway

I think you misunderstood... I mean that the gamma changes randomly when you switch between menu and game.
For example you enter a building and all is fine, you then enter the menu (e.g. to change load out) and when you go back into the actual game your gamma has changer and everything is much darker.
For me it changes between being overly bright and washed out to being just right to being so dark you can't see anything.
If you experience the game to be consistently too dark even if trying to "trick" the gamma/brightness to switch to something lighter, then the issue is with your graphics card or monitor that need to have the brightness adjusted independently of the game. The nvidia control panel has an option for adjusting the monitor profile/brightness which may help. I would assume AMD have something similar.

I have had the same problem since forever. Many many other reports of this too.
The menu interacts with the character's eye adaptation - and it shouldn't !

I played this game last year and now I have harder time to spot enemies as well, I'm not sure if it's because I play on higher settings or maybe they change something in the graphics so it will run smoother.

In game I'm talking about corners indoors that are way too dark you barely can see the person hiding there.
even shadowed corners outside has the same problem, since forever.

About the harder time to spot enemies in general I think this is because of the higher graphics setting or they change something(like added gray filter since last time I played)

Ok I found the problem that cause me being bad at spotting enemies, it was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TAA, it made everything way too blur and even worse, it add some sort of fog (that make everything with less contrast)
I switched to SMAA x2 and 130 resolution scale.
I was blind and now I can see :steammocking:
