Their games have always been best in co-op I feel, so that's not surprising. They probably realise this too.
In Sandstorm, night maps for PvP will be available on community servers, which should be much more populated as mod tools release publicly this Spring. Keep in mind the team can always introduce them in official modes later very easily if the demand is there.
I guess so, but at the same time it allows for more sneaky flanking etc.
Dunno where you get that statistic from, wouldn't be much higher probably but that doesn't really matter, people would still like the chance to play it if they implement it..
Hopefully the servers become more populated with mods yea. What could help is showing the official servers in the browser too, like ins2014. Then there is a reason to use the browser.
I am personally fine with night coop only since I don't think a gamma hack fest should be an official permanent mode in the game
