I would like to add that the point system for equipment parts can be used every match or created in presets/loadouts, so it's nothing permanent or a permanent decision you have to make, the points pretty much just indicate the weight of each equipment part..more weight slows you down a little.
PS: A little unecessary the statement at the end, ofc its not a CoD game, kinda obvious as it's called Insurgency and the store page explains it well as well. The guy was just asking if you have to unlock weapons, not everyone who would like that is automatically a CoD or Battlefield bob.
CoD is teambased as well, just that people don't really care much about it.
Unlocking a gun isnt satisfying to me, it just means you played and leveled up. In this game the satisfaction factor is just being good/working with a good team. Although im speaking formyself on this obviously, everyones different but yeah. If you like unlocking guns, this game doesnt have that. Sorry. But what is cool is when we get mod support you best believe people are gonna do weapon reskins! So if you like a particular gun like lets say you want a Famas, someone could possibly do a reskin of an existing weapon as a Famas. This isnt unlocking it, but just thought I would throw that out there.
So quick to jump at my throat, never played a COD game and I'm honestly not looking to do so, that's why I'm considering this game. It's not the only shooter with unlockable weapons.
Thank you for the responses, I saw there were unlockable cosmetics and wanted to see if it was the same with the weapons.
