How do I turn off the radio signal " beep sound "?

The sound that comes after someone said something in voice chat? I was able to turn off the actual voice chat, but not the beep that appears after.

Guessing the devs have focused more on optimization and bug fixing than the minor details. Possible that it will be an option soon.

Agreed. And the biggest problem is the fact that its been brought up by many users many many times and nobody will even respond as to why. Basically makes an otherwise great game unplayable for me.

I wouldn't go that far, I am using voice chat by now anyway, because of the competitive matchmaking.

But it indeed needs to be fixed.

It doesn't beep when you mute people. Only problem, muting people never works lol. As they just automatically become unmuted again.

Alright. Yeah, I don't want to mute people every match though, this should be an option within the audio settings, if you turn off voice, you shouldn't hear nor see a beep or name, this is so basic, I don't get why this hasn't been solved months ago.

Oh I totally agree, I just mute them when I'm playing casually. I'm sure the devs are aware of it and will fix it eventually.

It was an option in the previous game so it's more than likely it'll be an option added to sandstorm. But if you're looking for closure/confirmation from the devs I can't help you there :\

I wouldn't say that. Other than the incessant beeping its a great game. I'd simply like Alex or any other the other devs to chime in and say anything at all about the concern many many people have brought up. Something like "yeah, we're working on it" or even "stfu, its the way it is and if you don't like it don't play"... Anything but silence. And its not like they can't see the threads either as they pop up every day and are completely ignored.

Oh come on. The game is missing such simple and essential things. Just to name a few things that are missing:

- Armory ( I want to be able to work on my loadouts/presets when being in the menue as well, not only when being in matches, this is bad for many reasons!! ).
- The beeping noise we obviously talked about!
- No regional filter for competitive matches.
- No game-mode option nor filter for competitive matches.
- Terrible not functioning matchmaking for competitive matches.
- Several other issues with the competitive system!
- Lack of customization for Insurgents.
- Lack of some very very common and basic weapons

List would go on. What I am trying to say is, a few basic things missing can already ruin a lot of fun at some occassions. Other than that its a great game, yeah.
