Observer & commander
Commander got full power I find this very boring. Observer should be able to accept or deny some support fire atleast so if commander make a mistake he can redo. Hybrid both commander & observer since any attack made by commander = observer getting same point. I am not against observer class i only want a more versatile radio. Not a lace to commander radio.

I'm not sure if you're aware of army commands but usually, you cannot just refuse given command. It's your job to obey the orders as a team member with lower rank.

IMO It's good as it is and shouldn't be changed.
You still have the option to shoot the commander in the head if you and your team think he's not doing his job, this is already implemented.

That would be to disobey a direct order.
Tho if the commander is fast enough to regret him/herself, they have the option to direct the airstrike elsewhere before the command is confirmed by station.
Damn Right! Nov 22, 2018 @ 12:19pm
Iirc you could refuse a command if it is unreasonable, such as to go jump off a cliff into a quarry of rocks. But when it comes to fire support, I think it is a nonissue. Part of the fun.

I would be impartial to an option where commanders have to confirm their strike after Observer calls it in. What pisses me off more than this is the fact that people play Observer and run around the map, when the Commander is actually trying to call in support on points.
Observer get mad point by simply giving radio order this is absurd. Because Comm & observer as the same point for the same fire support calls. What have done the observer most likely nothing. There is no reason but to get high point to stick around a commander when observing. And sticking around a commander is ultra boring. Doing nothing. Waiting and waiting.

Then play Rifleman? Same exact loadout options except, guess what!? No radio and no responsibility!

I am trying very hard to tell why people dont stick around commander and you plain and simple answered what most people do when call out to be not a good observer GREAT CALL!!!

Commander do not equal a certain win. Actually its pretty useless if he doesnt get alot of peeps in those calls. 2 guys sticking in the back to call some maybe usefull ♥♥♥♥ is pointless. When i am observer i always rush objective anyways unless the commander is very close or spawn at the same time as i do. And if i do a radio call i do not wait for more.

And if we were really playing something as close as a real army does. We wouldnt go all in our own path. Commander would have full control over the army including the observer. Ill ad the fact that there is 2 team. Its not USA VS USA (even thought irl maybe)

I have no idea what you're talking about other than the fact that you simply can't play the role that your class is designed to be.
Sure. You should be happy when somebody will give you the call as a observer because they will never be helpful. Thanks to your logic people will never help or will just avoid playing observer. Get use to IT!

I don't play rifleman even thought that was what i played from the start. But we had many game without radiomen so i thought this would be good to mix radio with rifleman but it isn't. You have no option but follow like a dog one person on the entire group of squadron. This is absurd. Observer if i follow your logic (&game design for that matter) will be the worse class to play with.

Actually when I played observer, I gave the commander suggestions on where to call in and what type of strike. Of course having almost 400hrs on this game helps me know where they spawn and what trigger point spawns them. I really don't care to play the class, I push the flanks myself and tend to push the points before the team gets there. So hanging back goes against everything I "want" to do when playing.
Well if you are not following commander at all time for any call incoming you go against class design & Pumper logic.

Haha I've played observer for him. He knows his stuff and the main thing I have to worry about is not dieing lol.
