Disable Breath zoom option or add new key for hold breath without zoom.
I shoot IRL alot with scope and iron sight. This hold breath key with zoom is unusable as its completely for unrealistic, casual arcade play especially for a game like this that prides itself on realism. Sniper Elite3 made this mistake and corrected it in Sniper E 4. When you hold your breath while scoped or iron sighted IRL you do not magically zoom into your target like THE END from metal gear snake eater. That is not how eyes work so why isnt there an option to disable zoom? You know those pips on the side and of the cross hairs , those are for gauging distance and planning your shot, but guess what completely throws them off, magical unnecessary, unrealistic zooming. It is unusable to me to the point that it isnt even mapped. Please keep the realism going and provide a means to remove this clashing fantasy thorn of an eye sore from a realistic sim. Until then it is completely broken.. Thank you.

Are you not gonna talk about the fact that your eye automatically zooms in on the sights just by pressing the aim button, is that the only unrealistic thing in your eyes? Because apparently "you shoot irl with scope and iron sight" :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

I don't know what your point is, but when the devs is aiming for a certain realism aspect, feedback like this is very useful for them to reconsider. Your comment seems to immediately dismiss people's idea without even giving them a thought.

It's because the whole aiming system is weird and not realistic, not just the extreme super focus power.

If you bring up the command console type your preferred Fov Like Fov 90 your scope will no long zoom, you do may have to adjust sensitivity afterwards

No... I was saying how the guy goes up to the scope in such a way the entirety of the screen is just the scope, this is HORRIBLE fo CQB.

Yes that is a good point and I never really noticed that since it stays zoomed as long as the ads is on and you notice it even less otherwise. I agree for realism their should be no zoom their either. An easy point to miss since irl the only thing that is being magnified is the ironsight when you hold up to your eye so it is partially correct thus not an apples to oranges similarity for focus dynamic.

haha always someone complaining about something xd

eye relief on magnified optics is only a few inches and on this particular model (g33 im pretty sure) 2.2 inch, so that's really close and closer than how it appears ingame, difference is you aim with 2 eyes so the optic won't obstruct and will be out of focus. Can't simulate this on a pc monitor.. and making it half transparent just looks stupid. It's fine as is.

the ads and focus zoom wasn't really necessary and i agree on that, not gonna disable that and put myself at disadvantage though

You can! Call of Duty 4 did it perfectly! Basically, make the sights blurry and transparent when you aim.

That's just generic dof, not exactly what i ment, yea it looks cool and cinematic but alot of players hate this actually (i like it tho). What i ment is that you barely see the optic at all irl cuz you aim with 2 eyes.

Also I'm sure cod4 has slight ads zoom, played that game alot.

Yeah it had, that's why the Blur and Transparency helps. I would prefer no zoom at all, but if that isn't possible, just add the blur and transparency.
