i have it turned on, i see people on youtube where they can cut off body parts, tear bodies to pieces with explosives. the only thing i can see is blood and even then its not that much.

It works, but it's tuned down. There is not lot of blood overall, dismemberment is most common on suicide mombers ofc.

If you want a lot of gore, I highlt reccomend Killing Floor 2.

It was tuned down but not by much. 7.62x51, 7.62x54R, .50 cal headshot wil pop the head like balloon, these rounds can also rip off arms. Explosives also work. Just wait, it will happen sooner than later.

Use the G3A3 and you'll be popping heads left and right.

You can't shoot off limbs though, just headshots.

You totally can shoot of limbs (arms that is) I did it multiple times. Does not happen too often tho.

They have recently removed it, or tuned it down so much that it is not there anymore.

i have watched a video on youtube called "insurgency sandstorm gore review" or something like that months ago and expected that in game, but if i try the same stuff it just doesn't happen. not like it affects gameplay, but i just enjoy cutting up bodies with a knife every once in a while.

Anyway yes, it was toned down about a month or two ago. Likely because the more gibs flying around, the less framerate everyone is getting. I'd be surprised if they don't bring it back once the game is better optimized.

Also if you hit someone with a IED or other explosive you'll still see a decent amount of blood and gibbing, just sadly not as extreme as it used to be.

nope, if a big round hits your arm its coming off. Just played yesterday and its still here.

you need to shoot a limb a few times for it to come off, otherwise headshots with big boy caliber weapons will pop cherries like prom night
