The M9 for example or even an M16A3 and for attachments, the ACOG
also, the woman in the preview is a kurdish freedom fighter, she was supposed to star in the campaign, which got cancelled for various reasons
It's clearly an ak-47 look at the cover of the receiver.
Devs should add side specific weapons not everything for everyone.
Well they're adding everything to everyone. 2x MP5, 2x .50 AMRs, 2x Galils coming, 2x M16A2/A4 etc etc, so I see no reason not to add AK74M or something to security.
Please, do explain how you can tell an ak-47 and an akm apart by the cover of the receiver.
AKM has slanted muzzle brake, while AK-47 doesn't.
I am aware, I just want to know how the guy clearly distinguishes the two by the receiver cover.
There is no regular army in this game though, they are PMCs!!!!
Indeed, a military firearm, no military in this game, again...they are PMCs!!
That aside, they should have access to AKM,AK47,AK74..the whole table!! They are PMCs not military, I cant stress that often enough.
The picture is quite loosely painted. But it is more likely be 47 than akm (I guess you can find images of both guns). At the same time muzzle brake can be removed and cover changed. Plus, 47s and type 56s are more preeminent in the midle east than any other ak rifles.
They aren't PMCs, they're more like the Afghan National Security Forces, they're local armies and law enforcement basically. Maybe throw in the ISAF advisors on there.
Do you have any sources for that ?
The ingame title says " Security Forces " and to me this is pretty obvious especially because they are using first world equipment that is not used by the Afghan National Army.
The second hint is women, they are obviously trying to represent Kurdish fighters, there arent any women fighting in Afghanistan.
Your statement is not thought through very well. They are PMCs and there are many things indicating that, including the first Insurgency title.
They aren't PMCs dude. PMCs are not allowed by international law to operate on the offensive like this. How are you going to tell me I didn't think this out? They are "Security Forces" not mercenaries. I didn't say they were the Afghan National Army, but they are like it. They're fictional local secuirty forces and a bit of liberty is taken for gameplay's sake.
