The new call of duty copied a lot from this game
I just saw game play of call of duty and the game copied a lot from this game from arriving in trucks to door breaches and customization of weapons.. sandstorm you better start to bring more to this game cause call of duty may take what you created and make it better. Please dont let this happen get more material and night maps out cause I fear Cod might take all the players from this great tactical game.

i hope so, if any new players favour cod vs this, even with all the problems then that can only be better for this games community attitude in general

I support this opinion!
We need a level and map editor.

Just like they stole the idea of wall running from titanfall and it ended up being a gimmick that was rarely used cuz the game wasnt desing with those mechanics in mind, its gonna be the same this time.

It's not like Sandstorm does much (if anything) new that consumers haven't seen before in a fps game, so I don't really see COD copying Sandstorm's mechanics.

I will say, the 20v20 Domination mode looks like it could potentially be fun. More like a BF Conquest type scale, which could potentially draw me away from Sandstorm, especially if it looks and performs better than this (should be) EA title.

The only real potential I see in Sandstorm anymore is mod support, which is still essentially vaporware at this point and time.

Agree with this, when it comes to something "fresh" the 0.12.0 patch for Escape From Tarkov will smoke check the new COD.

I agree it certainly could, depending on one's perspective and the type of game play they're looking for. EFT is really good for "survival" or session-based type combat, but it doesn't offer "sustained" combat type game play. Sandstorm doesn't even offer that, at least not yet. So 2 completely different game styles.

Absolutsoft/BSG's Hired Ops would be closer to Modern Warfare, but that one isn't doing so hot atm. It's better than it was (and fun imo when I can find a match in TC) but still sub 200 peaks in population for a $10 game. My guess, poor populations has something to do with why it's going f2p.

Fair point.

lack of content is killing this game ATM.. I for one like sandstorm and believe it could be a awesome game with more content.Even if they drop the night missions in that would bring more people in and would be a fun way to play the game... But like I said content doesn't happen soon we can kiss this the player base goodbye.

When it comes to "lack of content" what is it lacking? (aside from a workshop). I mean wasn't Insurgency 2014 in the same boat?

meh, CODoody will always be over the top arcade junk.
No Hardcore mode = crap

The kiddies will buy as usual... This won't affect Sandstorm's main fans...

Night missions and modding ability would bring this more alive. This game tactical wise is very fun but think it could use more guns and maps ...Like said though if night missions where added right now it would be a refresher. Now I know Insurgency 2014 had night maps but this is a new engine and it looks a hell lot better then 2014.

They are working on it, it's complicated... takes time but coming at some point.
