20 kill 5 death -> 20/5 -> 4.0 K/D
10 kill 8 death -> 10/8 -> 1.25 K/D
1 kill 10 death -> 1/10 -> 0.1 K/D
total 31kill 23 death -> 31/23 -> 1.35 K/D
when you put a certain amount of hours in game, getting more kills and deaths, it gets hard to track as 109491 kills, 49203 deaths.
the division of kill by death is the easiest and most understandable method.
A KD of 1 means you have the exact same number of kills and deaths. A KD greater than one mean you have more kills than deaths and a KD less than one means you have more deaths than kills (negative kd is a misnomer as this value will NEVER be negative).
Its not.
by KDR, you can simply look at the first digit and see how much kills you got over death.
like KDR 2.X means you simply killed twice as much as you died.
KDR 4.X means you killed 4 people when you died once.
if you just put as Kill : Death, sure it might look easier when you are pretty new to the game, like
32 : 11
but when you get over few hundred hours, its hard to track 193939 : 4242334
cuz you have to count the number of digits, then compare the top ones,
To get deaths you do:
Total Kills / Kill Death Ratio
you killed 655 guys while dying 100 times. -> 655/100 -> 6.55 KDR
in the profile section its 1094 kills
