One guy blocking the entire objective
Please for the love of god remove this, its so unfair and anoying.
It should only be able to block if there are more guys defending than capturing.

It's not.

Learn to clear objectives. Or, in other words, git gud.

''Learn to kill guys sitting in a dark corner'' well that sure sounds like a lot of fun.

Thats the reason other games like rising storm have a majority system.

I've never liked the majority system for any game. Specially for Insurgency.

Don't like having to hunt down that 1 guy? throw a nade/smoke/flash and flush him out.

If anything, it's very fair. That 1 guy you can't find is holding your entire team up. He's all alone and his only advantage is blocking.

It actually is. I suggest you try that sometime.

There's a reason only a handful of people play these - completely different - games.

As a defender you have 4 times the amount of waves and a lot of camping spots to cut the enemy,if you let the enemy overrun you and cap the 99% of the point you deserve to lose it.

Whatever man, just know this will never change.

...and that's a proper remark and my thoughts on why Push was ruined in INS2 (not Sandstorm).

It's not a problem with "objective blocking" mechanic, it's a problem with balance \ mode design.

It seems perfectly legit and intelligently done.. If one person is blocking a whole squad full of guys...you'd figure it'd not be too difficult for said squad to spot him and destroy him comically quickly. If they fail to either spot or kill him once spotted, then he deserves all the props in the world for managing such a tough spot so well

You are giving too much credit to a guy prone on a tight angle on stairs.

If the objectives were bigger I would agree, but the objective in Insurgency are pretty small. It encourages actually moving and shooting the last guy. He isn't holding the entire obj unless you let him. It requires more than 1 person to walk into a room at the same time. It's just like CS_Office. We all know, way too many times, one dude has held projector because the CTs waltzed in one at a time and didn't know where in the room that 1 guy was. Same concept applies. If it's getting blocked and you know it's pretty much clear. Run around as a group and obliterate that last guy. Shoot him in the head 30 times. First guy in the stack might die but that's better than walking in 1 by 1 and dying to the same guy in some weird corner on a box, or you know. Hoping the guy just leaves or waiting for the defenders to reinforce and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you.

So no longer is the concern "dark corners" but it's stairs.

In any event, one should make use of multiple entry points, utilities, and teamwork.

If you and your team can't figure out how to use a flash utilities, explosives, and multiple envelopment, perhaps FPS are not a genre of game for you and your team.

The ''concern'' was that a single guy could block the entire objective, dark corners was just an example i used.If you only come to the forums to deflect criticism with your condescending attitud i would advice you to keep your comments to your self.

Nothing about it sounds unfair or annoying to me. Easy to kill the one guy in the corner if you're smart enough or if you have enough friendlies with you.
