Pretty much nothing is great for Insurgents.
Orange is off from the sand.
Grey and white might fit in on a couple maps in a couple places but overall don't work well when urban maps are all tan pitched.
You'd think they might get some sort of camo thats actually useful but nah.
My consensus:
Wear black because its great in dark interiors.
White/Grey Camo or light outfits for the snow maps and ministry. They don't stand out as bad.
Blacks going to be great in the future for Night maps.
To get as close to browns as possible, I wear the orange Camo T-shirt and orange B for any of the Black facewears (I prefer the Back Knot). It may not look impressive up close, but in desert maps the colors do blend a bit to give you that dark brownish color. I have also seen people wear that style for yellow facewears and other tops, but it really does depend on the map you play.
In addition, the lighting on the maps definitely makes a difference. Like in the first reply, dark outfits are awesome in poorly lit areas. The light on the camos does change its appearance for both security and insurgents, which is why I like the orange and black combo of the tops.
I'm also interested in this topic, as I have been experimenting with other colors too, like the dark red and black B facewears and similar tops. I'd love to hear what else you guys like to wear for camo.
Use a flannel shirt and a headgear with black template, that works even better:

and my trousers are a tan cargo trouser.
Makes you insurgent sneaky breaky in sand.
Yes, I discovered that peach is closer to sand than yellow. Unfortunately there is no peach headwear, so yellow will have to do. Stay sneaky.
