Good results with Fast Vsync / Low latency Mode

Hey guys,

I'v been using this 2 new features of nvidia drivers with a 1080ti for almost 2 months now. You can find those in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Here is my context, i play in 4K on a 60hz screen and been struggling to find a good balance between FPS/tearing/input lag. But not anymore...

> Fast Vsync (on) fixes tearing when you're above 60fps but you won't stutter if going below because it doesn't sync below 60fps. Picture quality is great, no tearing!

> Low latency Mode (Ultra) reduces input lag above 60fps. It's working together with Fast Vsync in my case. The feeling is almost like Vsync off, definitely more reactive than Borderless mode or traditional Vsync.

/!\ Just a warning, Fast Vsync DROPS fps above your monitor refresh rate (in my case 60hz) but your GPU renders unconstrained meaning it still operates like its not limited (max power all the time like vsync off). So you really want to limit your fps (i choose 90 in game because RTSS doesnt work) otherwise your hardware will heat up as much as possible.

Any kind of [paste any BS}-Sync is bad for Pvp games it cause input lag.
also .... good luck on runinng this game at 4k ....

[ps] - i use RTX 2080S and i don't dare to go above 1440 in this game for glory 100+ FPS.

True, i'd like to highlight that even if it's the lowest input lag possible, Vsync (off) Fps limit (off) does have input lag

AND

This input lag is variable. Meaning you'll always have the lowest input lag according to the current performance.

With the settings i'm using right now, i do have low input lag, but it's always the same one and i got to admit i'm more accurate when my mouse feels the same. It's also easier to read the scene with a picture that it's not torn apart.

You can find on PVP servers EU time but i'm not gonna show off so you tell me how i suck or not :)
