Anti Mage - I want to know what build are you using for him?
I think he is by far, the best late game hero for solo kills and team fights.

Here is mine, I've been doing on this for very long time and want to know public opinion, bcs section with Guides is to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for it.

Also -1 for OP for asking for thoughts and degrading someone because they gave a different opinion AND supported their reasoning with logic that isn't bull.

Well...

The thing about the Midas is that you aren't rushing it. You're getting Tranquil Boots first. This will equal a late Midas and will ensure that you will be unable to help your team at all early-game. If you want to farm fast as Anti-Mage, all you need is Battlefury. It helps far more, the build-up provides regen (something Anti-Mage needs to Blink constantly) and it will accelerate your farm more than a Midas will. Midas is a terrible choice, unless you rush it and can get it before 5 minutes. THEN you get boots. THAT is a Midas rush build. A late Midas is terrible.

Also, you shouldn't be looking for solo kills. You might not even want to contribute to fights too often sometimes. Chiefly, Anti-Mage's strength comes from split-pushing safely and effectively. You will never be as strong as a fighting carry hero with equal farm (ie. Faceless Void, Alchemist, Lifestealer), so getting a Midas just ensures you will fall behind, it will make you have a weaker contribution in teamfights, weaker pushing, and you won't actually gain anything from it (compared to the benefits of Battlefury as a farming item).

Similarly, Anti-Mage doesn't need levels as much as other heroes, although he certainly does benefit from them. He has one of the lowest Strength gains per level in the game.

If you're trying to get solo kills as Anti-Mage, you're doing something wrong.

If you're trying buying a Midas without rushing it and getting it early or on time, you're playing him incorrectly.

-1 from me on your build.

Well this guide is called Midas Anti Mage, so if you dont know how to "Midas play" than dont spam in here anymore pls. Ty

Personally, i'd swap butterfly out for crystalis/daedalus and make the butterfly a luxury item. The crystalis can be a quicker buy, and can be capitalized greatly by AM's incredibly low attack animation (especially after Yasha).

And honestly HoM, never. IMO. The amount of gold I spent just to get the extra 190 gold every 1 minute 40 seconds could be put into perservence allowing me to constantly blink from farm camp to farm camp, as well as the HP regen to stay healthy. This lets me hit every camp in under a minute and increase my farm.

I think this potential out does ANY farm potential HoM can give you unless you're busy laning/team fighting and a quick pop of it might help.

Figure that neutrals give 20-40g generally, a HoM proc is 1-2 neutral camps per 1 minute 40 seconds. If perservence allows me to farm 1-2 more neutral camps than without, thats 1-2 camps per 1 minute and not per 1 minute 40 seconds, essentially doubling the gold from HoM if averaged out per minute.

On top of that, max blink and enough DMG and you can farm all the camps in under 35 seconds easy and have time to even blink grab an ancient stack.

You dont get Crystalis, you get Skull Basher.
Next time read full guide, than post your comment, ty.
poor mans shield, treads, battlefury, vlads try to get this before 20 min mark (pretty hard when playing solo) then > basher/abyssal,manta,heart,butterfly, situational bkb if the enemy team is disabling you hard
Early game: Quelling blade, stout shield and tango > Poor man shield and Power treads.
Mid game. Battle Furry > Manta Style.
Late game. Heart of Tarasque > Skull Basher. > (If you don't have in your team disablers or much stuns finish Skull Basher to Abyssal Blade). (Butterfly if you have enouth disablers and stunners. Also for good DMG and bonus evasion). (Monkey King bar to counter heros with evasion like Riki and PA or just counter other carry Butterfly). (BKB if enemy team have lots of lockdows).

I'm not spamming here. I'm explaining why I think Midas on Anti-Mage is a bad idea.

noob guide
says the guy who is steam level 1, what an irony
midas is retarded on anti-mage

you're s huge scrub if you make midas on him
anti-mage needs 2 things
HP
and cleave

you rush treands and make battlefury
then you have a choice
you can either go lifesteal with vlads
or you can go yasha into manta

or if the situation applies you could make a vail of dishonored

i 1-shotted full HP enchantress with it
sucks to me the rest of her top were top, pushing TI3 tower

but yes, vail on anti-mage grants you even more HP regen and it gives all around starts aswell as a massive buff to your ult

Steam level is decided by how much money you can spend on/how good you are at trading for cards and gaems. You can at most hustle up 10-15 levels from community badges, and the majority of it would be contributed from a steam admin badge which you'll never own most likely.
Besides, as a 24 lvl Steam users I declare you, a measly lvl 14, a total noob and scrub (inb4 some lvlv 60 comes in here and recks me).

Well, I already stopped reading when you put a lvl 1 point into Mana Shield at lvl 2...
JK :P

But I would say your build is rather normal, except with the Midas. Midas isn't really needed and is a waste of money, slot and time. Why? I rush BF.. That's the very first item I get. No boots first, nothing else.

Getting BF first means you can farm jungle early. So if you have the oppertunity to get one as early as possible: DO IT! My record of fastest BF is around 12 minutes, which is really fast. With getting a Midas as you propose you will get your BF 8-12 minuts later, which is 24 minutes: LAAATEE! In that time I could get my Treads, Yasha, and maybe if I get lucky finished my Yasha into a Manta.

So that is why you don't need a Midas. Midas just slows your farm, gives some nice atk speed, and the gold ofcourse, but you don't need it on an AM, because he needs it more for his BF, so you can farm 10 times better with the BF.

And your skill build: Mana shield is only needed when your going into fights, and early game you could use it more on the mana burn and blink, because that will get you out of fights.

I hope my opinion on this helps towards your play on AM, and have fun!

This guide is only for those who want to build midas, it clearly says it is MIDAS guide, safe lane farm, I hope you guys know the fact that if you can get midas under 10 minutes it is good on every hero, even on anti mage.
