General Lycan tips?

So i have recently discovered that i havent played a single Lycan game yet,and he seems fun.
Any tips on playing him decently as carry(not pusher) besides "dont pick lycan"?

Lycan is indeed VERY fun, and one of my favorite heroes to play, though I typically play him as a pusher. He's not often played as a carry because, well, there are much better carries out there, but he can still be a force to be reckoned with. I've found once I get a Vlad's and hyperstone, I can pretty much just start rolling through things, and a BKB covers up his weakness to stuns, since his ult makes him impervious to slows entirely. Other than that, he's definitely a right-clicker, so getting your strength and health up is a big focus. I'm sure there are better Lycan players out there than me, though, and I'm sure they can give you better advice. Still, hope what I said helps a little!

EDIT: Oh, and if you have the skill to be able to micro-manage your wolves, you'll be very good at blocking people off and getting easy kills.

Get your wolves maxed first, and it helps if you buy mana regen. Micro the wolves to attack targets first or get last hits but be careful about wasting them. Lycan struggles against long range attackers so If this is the case i would jungle him. Get lifesteal ASAP then just build into AS, Skull Basher and Strength(not damage as strength is damage and HP, thus better). Use your ulti to get kills plentifully as it has low cooldown:duration ration at max level.
