I need help with Faceless Void item and skill build

I played the hero and he was completely godly the first time i played him. . . The very next time i was against Drow and Anti Mage. . . Drow kept harassing me until the last minnute and i could hardly farm. . . All i made was Mask, Battfury and treads. . . I want to know the order of build and the skill build i should go for. . . Is he capable of a rampage. . ?

midas, mask, mjoll is kind of his core, midas is skippable if you're decent at farming. after that general damage, like MKB, Daedalus, etc. then late game get an aghs so you're not useless for such long periods of time.

the difference between mask at 5 and 10 minutes isn't much, but the difference between late game midas and early game mask is pretty big. sure you might get one kill early game for like 200 gold, or you can get a midas and boost your late game farm, early levels, and generally be able to 1v5 a lot sooner.

Midas won't boost your late game farm, it takes ~30 minutes just to pay for itself in gold. The earlier you get the mask the better; if you can get it at 5 minutes as opposed to 10, it arguably makes a much bigger difference here as its vs weaker heroes.

Min. 5 Maelstrom is pretty much impossible, highest net worth at Minute 5 is ~2.8k gold including afk gold and starter gold - considering you got EVERY creep possible and didn't spend a single coin on reg/branches. 2.7k Gold = maelstrom.

Have fun farming that at offlane in any pub without a hero kill, I'll give you head if you manage ;-)

lion and void vs CM and Veno. you do the math.

we're pushing T2s and their mid won't gank, void is like 10-0 at 12m, got eaglesong really fast (like 5 kills in incl. first blood on rune) so he was doing crazy damage and had ulti when they were level 3. we just dived CM constantly and veno kept trying to help with no levels in his Q.

so I didnt read thru all the posts so this might be rendundant but a couple tips.

- PMS is the best item in the game vs. lane harass (I mean literally the best)
- most games you wanna go 1-1-1 then max the bash
- dont be afraid to chrono solo heroes early if it nets you a kill
- same applies to all enemy carries all game
- You dont wanna go BF nowdays, the build is treads- MoM- then Yasha or Maelstrom or similar into Crits
- you only go BF if your team has a Enigma or Magnus or similar
- on a six slotted void you should have some combination of Mjollnir, Buriza, Satanic, BKB, MKB, Bfly, S&Y/Manta (dont diss manta void, its about a DD rune inside chrono), AC, Skadi and boots ofc (treads or BoT). Very rarely hart
- best advice I can give you on Void (any carry really) is get them last hits down.

maelstrom most times is more useful than mask of madness, only get mask if you know you can kill people with out them being able to counter play you. i see to many noob voids make that mistake.

and don't ever buy back ever, giving up a tower is more worth it than buying back especially on void. even if you get a rampage it won't cover the cost of your buy back.
