Which hero can beat Axe in lane?

I always use Viper or Drow Ranger to annoy the hell out of an Axe since he can't get close with all those slows. LOL

Who's with Axe? 'Cuz if it's Bloodseeker, in the lower tiers I'd say that's an even more common duo than Sniper/Windy.

I'd probably go Tidehunter or Sand King or something. Seer or Shaman if you can count on your teamy.

any ranged, most melee, but i think anti mage would be the best cause with his mana break axe got no mana left to spam battle hunger.

axe counters you hard using helix. if your going to lane agains't him. go something ranged that can hit hard but move fast, like drow or DP, otherwise if you HAVE to melee. it's ursa garenteed due to his armor being no match for his fury. not life stealer as he cant steal alot of health with high armor on his targets

Lifestealer is only good against Axe later game.
Counter Helix is VERY strong early game.

Elder titan. Punches hard and strips natural armour and resistance Also a stun if you need to escape.
