Keeper of the light at mid ???

Any time I pick keeper of light i tell the team "can i go mid?" and it's like: "keeper mid?? noooo!! youre crazy, fool!!", but keeper is supremacy at mid. QEQEQEQE, and you'll farm all the enemy creeps, level up very soon, you don't let the mid enemy hero level, and we the mid enemy tower is over, you can help at top/bottom... it is awesome, test it and have fun.

The mid lane is STRAIGHT and enemy can't ambush u easily, unlike the other lanes. This makes the skill of keeper awesome.

Your only problem can be pudge at his favorite corner and you going too far at mid, but if u are aware... no problem. I checked against Lich, Queen of pain, Batrider, Sniper, Templar (poor templar!),... it is always the same. Keeper is very overpowered by his long range and mana replenishes. And when u finish the tower, your mates will have a powerful support.

Kotl is a lane support and useless hero without a carry with a spammable nuke. It's very easy to gank from mid lane and doesn't really benefit from the extra xp.

You must be playing with low skilled players. If I saw kotl mid, my first thought would be to smoke gank mid. Seeing as kotl has poor armour and starting hp, you wont easily escape it.

Keeper CAN go mid, sure, but he's also an excellent lane support.

The problem is that having KoTL farm creeps like that doesn't actually help his team all that much, because he doesn't scale well with items and he's not a particularly strong ganker. The main benefit is pushing down the tower early and if you want to do that you're probably better off with Death Prophet, who not only has a spammy long-range nuke, but also a means to damage the tower itself.

these people must be new to the game, the best carries need mid to get early kills, definatly with the 500damage you could be douing by level 7
noone would seeyou coming and you would in the game for your team, i am a kotl carry, my best is 36 - 0 . HE NEEDS MID

I go kotl dagon if I am messing around with him, but he doesn't need mid nor wants it compared to other heroes. He doesn't need items other than mek and boots.

Ya keeper can go mid against noobs. but any team with half a brain is going to have one of the other lanes roam and just shut him down in the mid, he has no means of escape, low armor, and low HP.

Ok , lets assume you got the gold , and that you took the tower first ... so?

I mean , KotL is a support hero , even if he got postion 4 , there is too much gold and exp to be expent over on him at mid during the game start.

You can do this? Sure, but it is a waste.
