playing solo matchmaking, with dota profile / steam profile bocked. i dont expose my info to 3rd party sites. during a flame war, the guy said my real name. he said it repeatedly. how'd he get my name?

as for how to block it, (the question above) in settings while playing dota, the middle tab, top right corner "hide steam profile/ dota profile from other players"

your doto account was set to private, but I believe he still could see your steam account. to private your steam account, you have to do it, well, here, on steam, not on doto.

You can private your profile so nobody can see it even if they can find you, or you could just remove your name the same way you put it on your profile.
