is there a way to make the camera control more like LoL
so dont be mad that i play league of legends i like dota 2 and LoL just as mutch but i have to say that i prefer LoL's camera control over dota 2's i find it more useful to have space as the key to center on the hero/champion, i dont like to play with locked screen but i find it more handy to press space instead of double tapping f1 when i need to center on my hero (instead my camera pings of into midlane instead of centering on my hero) another problem that gets me killed is when my hero doesnt walk as far as i want because i cant click on the ui to move there. just like it is in LoL if you right click somewhere on the ui it will in most cases move you where you clicked, im finding myself being killed a lot because the camera wont react how i first got used to. (i understand if there is no way to change this)

It's the key to select your heroe.

There's a thread for that. You just have to search it.

Sorry, if somebody already posted this.

@OP: If you want a key to permanently lock the camera on your hero, there's a console command for this. All you need to do is add the following line to your autoexec.cfg:

BindToggle c dota_camera_lock //binds the toggle for camera lock on key c

That command is a toggle for camera lock. If you are in a game, pressing c centers and locks the camera around your hero. If you press c again, you will be back in free camera mode. Btw. that's something you could have easily googled :P

Edit: of course you can bind any key to that toggle, I just used c as an example...
