Dota 2 ripped off The Slayers

I mean, two spell casters named Lina inverse with similar skills and abilities? They just changed how she looks (ugly) to bypass copyright laws.

Icefrog was the original creator of DotA and Valve has nothing to do with Lina. Icefrog created lots of heroes based on lots of things including Lina.

The Slayers Anime started in 2009 if Im talking about the right one
Dota 2 was released in 2013 yes but it started production way before that and that was only dota 2
Dota 1 was a mod for Warcraft 3 that was made in 2005

Slayers was an anime that kept getting remade, the original was back in 1989.

It wasn't (purposely) ripped off. The guy that made Lina in the original DotA just named her after the character as an homage.
