You're under arrest for the murder of the comma.
And games were delayed as well.
And apparently perfect world provided them with worse hardware than the other majors.
I could go on.
True, but the Chinese casters are not as knowledgeable as Blitz, Purge, or Merlini AND the stream is heavily lags for ALL language casters, not just English, because the hardware is garbage.
Today's lag is now worse because Valve switched to another provider mid-tournament, who is equally unprepared.
Then they probably brought their own gear (smart Russians)....while the English and Chinese streams probably are using the new Chinese provider.
And if there's an issue with the English stream, there's likely a problem with other language streams too.
Did the frankfurt major have big issues like this with other languages? Because i dont remember there being this many problems.
Some more specific and in-depth complaints, courtesy of reddit:

As i said before. Little audio problems combined with Perfect World not being ready to bring this combined with some issues with production companies and commentators equals a problem.
That's not to say that there's nobody in China who could ever do it. That's not to say the major is a total tragedy. It's more of a crack at Perfect World. And Valve, for not setting this up right. But new events in new territories leads to new problems. So in the future problems like this won't occur again.
Is it a problem for everyone? No. Is it a problem for a huge chunk of the community? Yes. The entire english speaking community. Not just the Americas. Even if it was just "10%" (which i still call BS on), that's a big chunk. 1/10 people. That's big. And i think if you measured how much money was spent on battle passes you'd see that chunk of the community as being much bigger. Frankfurt didnt fizzle like that.
And while im assuming that a large amount of english speakers are having problems with this major, YOU'RE assuming that
a) The UK watchers were asleep
b) Every other language went totally fine
c) The russian-speaking community is larger than the english-speaking community.
Fact of the matter is that they screwed up. They worked with people who were too low-end or too amatuerish to cater to the audience and the players. They publicly fired their production company.
This major has had some production issues. Some may consider that a problem. I see it as a learning experience for valve.
You can't say this major is going well. Well, you can try. And you ARE trying. But it doesn't stick. Just because the russian stream is going decent doesn't make this a successful major.
