Dota 2
Cod and cs:go are also MOBA games?
I thought about this when i was in the shower. MOBA means multiplayer online battle arena right? So cod and cs:go are also MOBA games for their pvp part

Ya, Dota neeeeds Fog of War - for sure, but Mobas as a whole don't, there's also Monday Night Combat (BTW: Even though "Super" Monday Night Combat tried to be more Moba-like, it's far worse than regular at being one)

The term moba isn't really defined that well anywhere it just means multiplayer online battle arena which basically means that any game that puts 2 or more players/teams against each other with the main goal of defeating each other can be called a moba. So anything could fit in it like cs, battlefield and so on. Though the term is left more to games that in some way resemble dota or lol that doesn't mean that those games are the definition of the term. Plus if you cycle through the different game modes that those games have the only thing that stays the same is literally one: one player/team against another.
