Edit: Yes Puck is voiced by a woman, but it wouldn't be the first time a male character was voiced by a woman.
"Puck spends countless millennia in its childish form. So while it is technically true that Puck is juvenile, it will continue to be so when the cities of the present age have sloughed away into dust." Source
"The Scrolls of Haize are concise on this matter: With youth comes grave responsibility. A thousand years of youth have fallen behind, and still I fill the time with games." - Puck

I know they are similar but the major difference. Puck is a fairy. Puck (dota 2) is a fairie dragon and is younger (I think Puck's mind is similar to the mind of a 7 year old).
I was stating an example of where people base their thought of Puck being a he.
NO THANKS, anime is lame.
I stopped watching cartoons when i was 14
I'm quite happy.
Puck is not a child or any kind of dragon in Berserk, Puck is merely a fairy. Also, Puck in Berserk has none of the abilities that Puck in DOTA 2 has. The two also look nothing alike in terms of character design, they are not even close to the same size. So, Puck in DOTA 2 does not seem to be based on Puck from Berserk.
Also, according to: http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Puck#Trivia
Puck is a reference to the character of the same name from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
