Is there a cheat that lets players see invisible players?

I was playing as Clinkz (and invisible) and walked right near an enemy player... he then reacted by stopping his movement (even though there was no fight going on around us or any other players), and used dust of appearance. I already thought he was acting very shady the entire game, but this just was very weird. I then called him on it and he said "luck, I guess". So could it be possible he was using a cheat? It could be there is a cheat that lets players see other invisible players, but still requires normal game mechanics to "reveal" them...

No the topic of the thread is "how did this guy know I was there". He even specifically mentioned Clinkz who has inherent invisibility and yet you're talking about item builds for completely different heroes.

Dotabuff/Opendota can be useful for helping OPs with questions to better understand the context, but when you use it repeatedly only to discredit and attack people it gets really really old.

Short answer is "no"- the way Valve's servers are set up it's near-impossible to change how the game works AFAIK. In the past there were some information cheats- being able to see the enemy players cooldowns and things like that, but they were all way back in Source 1 and Valve has long-since fixed them.

Thats what people keep saying, i know that bla bla bla, valve supposedly doesnt store player locations on the server where a hacked client can see it. I dont know about that, theres never really been any "proof" of that, and even then all that is going ot do is supposedly prevent it from making fog of war cheats (and thats silly thing to say, that there is no way to hack in, when in reality if it was created by man, it can be hacked by man).

South america has a million dollar industry for pc cheats (no joke, google Hacks! An investigation into the million-dollar business of video game cheating), you should find some information about brazil and a couple other places.

If there are not a small handful of fog of war cheats, than about at least 35-50% of people in south america have just sponatanously gained pyschic powers.
Funny thing is all these people who are "pyschic" have level 0 steam accounts with only dota2 on it.

When valve is gonna pull their heads out their butt and restrict level 0 free2play dota2 accounts from playing with people who actually have something to lose from their 10 year 100+game account.

Also the autoscript cheats are still out, the autocast your skill when enemey hits x amount of hp ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I know all about getting lucky, more than a few times in cs ive killed someone when my finger slipped and my mouse spun around towards a wall, it happens.
But I can watch these guys (mainly south america) constantly orienate or run towards the weakest character on the enemy team, when i call them out on it, nothing is ever said, EVER. They will normally quit when called out though. sometimes :/.

I should also mention, south american culture is alot different than say western society or even eastern (japan, china), were most of its population beleives in being "fair" and "even", south americans just have a lifestyle culture that promotes lying, cheating, and stealing.

To them, using hacks is a right, its not shameful like it would be for most cultures.

But honestly when that happens to me, or im ganked in the safe part of my jungle by 3 of the enemy, i dont bother to put up wards anymore because only 1/4 times there may actually be a ward there, most of the time just a waste of money(in those situations i have to constantly keep roaming to keep them moving).

Im pretty sure theres some private fog of war cheats out there.

Either that or south america's population is becoming pyschic and awakening, but the things that people from south america say in the us east en glish queue blow my mind, (and i dont hesitate to say it back when people feel like gloating), im prettttttty sure thats not the case, because people who are spirtually open know that our world is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and we shouldnt be fighting each other.

There's never been any real "proof" of cheating in the Source 2 engine either. Grainy videos of players with Russian names and no match-ID are about as much proof as for...

I just played a match and on the replay is clear dude has a cheat/exploit to detection. The scrolled super quick to the screen edge and back which left a big graphic stretch showing the hero (me in this case) without any use of detection. Suspect its software due to how fast it is on the replay.

Some of the costumes seen to be glitches. I've seen blue glowing things walking around quite a few times due to the PA RIKI glitch.
