Questions about Injuries in Fire Promoter
Okay so I have spent a few hours googling today (there is surprisingly very little info about this game that is easily searchable as far as the inner workings go) and I can't find an answer. So I am asking here.

In fire promoter we all know there are injuries and players have conditions but why are there 2 different ways to see it and why do they not always correspond? There is the Body that shows different colors based on damage and then there is the condition tab that list good, poor etc.

What is the difference there? See i have had guys with red body parts but their condition is fine and then i have had guys in poor condition or even out on injury with an all green body?

I have a theory. Kayfabe vs legit.

I have no evidence to back this up but my idea is that the body colors are for Kayfabe injuries. basically for injuries that happen during a match that are part of the "story" Since fire pro doesn't necessarily present the wrestling as real (there are factors that reward for cooperation or taking a move well rewards you later in the match) Example wrestler 1 works wrestler 2's legs the whole match he sells the injury in the next match so the game gives him less hitpoints in that area or whatever but the performer is fine to keep performing in matches.

But the condition tab is their actual wear and tear. Poor condition would lead to a real world injury.

They don't seem to directly reflect each other.

Am I wrong? did i nail it? Why is there no info out there about this and how it works?

Also do criticals have ANYTHING to do with injuries?

Sometimes a wrestler will take a move and sell it like crazy rolling around. Does that indicate a legitimate injury may have taken place and now his condition will drop?

Is any of this true or is it all TOTALLY random and I have found a glitch where the color body parts are not affecting the condition of the wrestler.

I am open to any real knowledge of this mode and system.

I would also love to hear your theories if we still don't know how any of this actually works.

I'm not 100% sure either, but I think condition indicates fatigue as it goes down the more I use them in a row, while the colored body parts indicate how injured certain body parts are, I've noticed that if for example a wrestler takes a lot of moves that land them on the neck during a match, their neck will be worse off, while the rest of their body will be fine. I think the colored parts on the wrestler's body is what determines whether they become seriously injured, y'know the types of injuries that has them out for a while?

The two times I had my wrestlers seriously injured is after they get hit with a critical and they started a rivalry immediately after, then I booked them on the next card and they got submitted with a torso-targeting move. After a wrestler eats a critical, the body parts that get targeted by the move that critically hit them get red, meaning that they're in the worst possible state of damage. So if he gets hit with a powerslam, their torso will be red, if they get critically submitted by an armbar, their arms will be red, if it's a piledriver it'll be their neck etc.

In both of my cases where my wrestlers got seriously injured, they were critically hit by a Karelin drop, which got their neck and torso to be red, then they got submitted with a move that targets the torso (in one case I remember it being an elevated boston crab, but I don't remember the other move). Neither of their conditions were poor, it was normal in both cases, though I think that both the condition and the damage of body parts affect how likely it is for a wrestler to get seriously injured.

I wish I had a screenshot. But i swear I had a guy injured after a show but his body was all green. I wonder if an injury can occur from either a body part being red and taking too much damage. Or from just poor condition from booking too much. Wish there was a comprehensive guide for this game. Seems most of the info for world is just stuff from the gba game and returns...which makes sense it is essentially the same game with a new fancy coat of paint but still. you would think spike would write up a quick guide to the promoter mode.

The General Help says that both condition and body damage can cause serious injuries, but doesn't go into any specifics, it doesn't mention if the injury occurs if a certain threshold is passed, for example if a certain wrestler's body part takes enough damage or his condition gets too low, it triggers an injury, or if there's a chance that after every match a wrestler can get injured and the chances go up dramatically if the condition and body damage are in a bad shape.

So my theory of the colored body parts just being for kayfabe match performance reasons is totally wrong. That is disappointing. Think my idea is pretty awesome. oh well.

Yeah, more kayfabe stuff like this would be really cool, the mode is way too limited. I mean we can't even set up rivalries, they just "happen" for just 1 match between 2 random wrestlers on the roster. Scheduling who runs in and when would also be great. I think the ability to put in managers also doesn't work for some weird reason in Fire Promoter which is really baffling since the option is already there in the basic game mode. I'm not asking for a spreadsheet simulator like Total Extreme Wrestling, but the GM Modes in the old SvR games were way more involved than Fire Promoter.
