Maybe they should get their affairs in order and like, get off the ground first, like getting their TV deal, starting weekly shows and maybe getting an actual roster on top of the dozen or so people signed already. Then they can talk things like video games.

Yeah, a little too early to start talking a video game when they haven't even had their first show yet.

I made this video on an XP.
I like using the NM Thing without the hex math. Plus the auto alignment makes it easier to sort mod textures. And yeah I like the movie maker more. But yeah I tweeted Cody an pic of my IG post using No Mercy textures for AEW.

He liked it.

Nice Job!

I hope they do make a AEW wrestling game with No Mercy Engine.

It will sell like crazy!

I don't even know who owns the AKI engine at the moment.

You can replicate it like the Pro Wrestling X developers are doing.

Maybe they can use the emulators to do like they use them to play modded versions. Considering that they have hack codes to add new moves and matches. Perhaps they can get into the coding and recreate it.

First AEW needs to get their fed started.

THEN worry about making a video game 🙄

Wrong, Bruh. In truth AEW had a show before they had a company. Now they have both.

Don't know if you're a WWE fanboy. But that's the narrative they've tell themselves. They have a billionaire investor. Of course they to consider a video game going forward.

They're in the market for it and its logical.

That seems like maybe putting the cart before the horse...

They definitely need to focus on building the company's foundation before focusing on superfluous junk like video games.

Actually they have the shell of a company. Barely a roster, no TV/PPV deals, so far they have nothing which makes all the hype absurd.

Which doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Herb Abrams was a multi-millionaire and how far did his UWF go? Ted Turner and WCW survived how long? Money doesn't mean automatic success, especially not in wrestling. TNA had Panda Energy behind them and accomplished what? ROH has a multi-millionaire behind it and they're basically in the same position they were in 10 years ago, barely moved an inch forward. Why should it be different this time? Especially all the hype reminds me of Global Force Wrestling. How did that end?
Competition for the WWE is absolutely needed, they need a company that steamrolls all over them like WCW did in 1995/1996 but i can't see this company being the one for that job.

Instead of getting hyped, it'd be wise to wait and see what happens. After all, this company so far reeks of a combination of all the worst wrestling promotions in the history:
- Billionaire who has no clue about wrestling (and how bad a company being helmed by a non-wrestling guy is was also seen with Jim Herd in WCW)
- Cody Rhodes and his useless, untalented wife being in there, being probably the bookers and also featured talent. That's a recipe for disaster. It will be like Jeff Jarrett in TNA hyping himself to the moon
- Is Chris Jericho really something to get excited over? A 50 year old, way past his prime guy? If that's the best they can do, then...yeah, maybe a short nostalgia hype but afterwards?
- And for the past months not a lot has been done, you'd think a company like that would try to get big events going asap. Again, like GFW.

And for the game: They still need a company to actually make that game. AKI basically doesn't exist anymore, all the employees who worked on the wrestling games left the company a long, long time ago. There's no other company in the world that has proper experience with wrestling games and hiring a company that has no clue, is again, a recipe for disaster (think WCW Nitro, WCW Thunder, WWF European Rampage, WCW Backstage Assault, WWE Raw and so on, tons of examples of inexperienced (when it comes to wrestling games) developers producing the worst of the worst.

You make some great points!

I hope they don't hire Hogan, Russo & Bischoff or this thing will end before it even gets off the ground. Hogan will drain you dry!

Yes I read something about that. Let him stay there. To this day when asked he doesn't take any blame for the downfall of WCW
