How Do You Know if You're Selling Moves Correctly?
I know I'm suppose to press L1 in the grapple to sell my opponent's move, but how do I know if I'm doing it correctly?

Do you just press L1 when you grapple or do you hold L1, and after that what am I suppose to see if I do it correctly?

There are also people saying to press square to sell a move too.

You're not supposed to see anything, your opponent will just perform moves on you without being countered or reversed. You can sell being down longer by holding medium attack while down.

Ah ok, so L1 would cancle any auto reverse or counter?

Also, do I just press it in the grapple or do I hold it?

Lol... yeah it is. I was playing fighting road and even the game confirmed it. I don't remember reading it in their manual though. They really need to do a real players guide because the info gets mixed up between Fire Pro Returns and Fire Pro World

The mechanics are basically similar between World and Returns; the only differences are strike exchanges, move stealing and sliding to the ropes afaik. You can use a Returns guide and take it as gospel for World.
