Over the top rope matches way too easy

I don't know if it was like this in the other fire pro's, but I can end over the top rope 8 man battle royals in 1 minute, and that shouldn't be possible, is there any mods or options I can set to change this?

Have you fought on level 9 or 10?

I play on level 8, with the higher levels I just get destroyed in normal matches as I can't even get a single grapple in, so I'm basically stuck with level 8, and that makes the over the top matches really easy. The only way I make it longer is intentionally lengthening it out, but thats not fun

I think there's a rule that makes only the special "throw over the rope" command valid. This won't execute successfully until a wrestler is worn down, so it's impossible to win within a minute.

just irish whips work for me, and you can just spam them

I think you can do the r1 or something button to make it into a grapple where you have to wear them down. But it ruins the fun knowing I can take them out at any time by irish whipping them.

Irish whipping doesn't throw them over the rope, that's through the rope. There should be a special rule that makes moves like that invalid, so you have to use the special command; I can't remember what the option is but I can check.

The tutorial mission teaching you how to use the special command in an elimination match actually enforces that rule.

It's the "Over-Tope-Rope" setting; I actually don't understand why that's set to off in the "Over Rope" match type...
