I dont think it makes much of a difference but people seem to say somewhere between level 4 to 8

so the first guy said 4-8, yet the others say 8-10? which is right? btw I play at level 8 too.

Neither is "right" it's just personal preference

I've kept mine at the default level 4 and have witnessed multiple 100% match evaluations. I'm not sure it matters since both CPUs will have the same level and therefore the only thing that matters is putting two people against each other will can put on a good match, i.e. not a jobber vs superstar.

I agree with 4-8. 7 is pretty sweet but The variance helps keep the match flow unpredictable.

I guess I'll use 8 then, as that seems to be the best spot, since everyone is saying it XD

I've kept mine on the highest setting ever since 6-Men Scramble back in '96, so in this case, level 10 and have never been disappointed

I use 10 to eliminate the delay on grapples. It doesn't affect the logic of the matches, just grapple speed and how quickly the players will move towards the ropes during submissions.

It also effects submission and pinfall escapes. The higher the COM LEVEL the more likely a frame is to have a button press during a submission or pinfall escape.

I use level 10. When I first started, I used level 4 because that was the level I play at (default level). Since both CPU would be the same level, I didn't even thought about it being a factor. I started siming matches for my edit at 800 speed to see how was my edit's rating. Sometimes my edit get squash and I go back and work on the logics. I figure my edit's points are higher than Blan Fleming and Dag Boomber, I must be doing something wrong with the logic. I keep working on it being anti-squash, but it keeps happening. Then for no reason, I just though I'd change things up and use level 10. I didn't think it would make a difference, but you never know til you try. Instantly, no more squash match. After hundreds of matches, no squash except for the occasionally early critical finish.

High level is just better because they are consistent and they always bring it. Low level means the wrestler can be very off their game in that match, the varience increase, and you will get bad matches, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the wrestlers. They simply aren't executing. When they are high level, they always execute. You actually get to see how your logic plays out, instead of wondering is your logic flawed, or is your wrestler just dumb.

I've used Level 10 since Fire Pro Returns. My main reasoning was that the behavior of edits is primarily dictated by moveset and logic, I always assumed that when the com skill is at 10, the edits will do exactly as I program.
