How do you download ref and use referees

How do you download ref and use referees? Thank you

The same way you download the wrestlers. However, with referees, they do not need to be added to a stable/promotion. Just click the workshop tab at the top of the screen here on the Steam forums.

1. Go into the workshop and look for a refree for example i will use one of mine https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1836169459&searchtext=ECW+Japanese+Refree

2. Make sure you have the required DLC if they require DLC check the right column where DLC and other required items usally are, also read the descrition to see if it's the one you are looking for i put down if they are a fast count slow count etc.

3. if you have the DLC download the edit of the refree then go into your game, go into a singles match and where it says refree go through there and a new one should pop up, if you have the NJPW dlc you should have red socks san and mr. judgement

On a related note, is there a way to actually USE referees, ie control the referee as a player... Like in WWF No Mercy

No not that i know of.

I wish there was it would be cool to control a ref, i tried playing wwf no mercy but coud not get to wrestler select screen the emulator controls are way too hard D:

Using referee is great. If you're emulating on PC , you can configure the keyboard/Joypad to suit
