Mixed-gender matches?
I'm considering a purchase of this game, and I have a simple question: can I have a (singles) match between a female wrestler and a male wrestler?

Yes, that's actually something that occasionally happens in Japan.

FPW is nothing like garbage WWE 2KX games that put limitations on game play. If you can think it up, you can do it.

Yes you can have male vs female matches in FPWW.

You can also have male versus female tag matches or even mixed gender tag teams like you see in Lucha Underground (up to 4 per side).

Firepro also has a light sexual orientation gender setting so for the few entertainment moves like the lip lock or Danshoku Dino's nightmare, you can tell it whether it should work on the same gender or the opposite one. If you're then fighting the other, the move is replaced with a more generic, non-sexual animation. There's basically the 4 main permutations, straight male, gay male, straight female, and gay female.
I do believe that was the fastest and most effective troll neutering I've ever seen. Egads.
There are absolutely no gender restrictions in the game. Women can compete for any title you create, participate in any match type and can wrestle anyone on the roster including men. If you wanted to do a 4 v 4 team where one team has 3 women and 1 man and the other has 3 men and 1 woman you can. Women can also bleed

Here's another question. Are the female edits always weaker? I'm wondering if I should put my female edit into the small male catagory so she will stand a chance. Or is it up to the parameters, skill sets etc.. that determines their winning ability.

Yes, the female edits can work matches with male edits without bein squashed yes, even when you intend to create a jobber it's rarely one way

Yes, but size does matter in Firepro. Small wrestlers don't always do as well against Large or Giant wrestlers. Of course, women don't have to be created as size Female; if you're making a taller or bigger woman, you can do that in Firepro.
