having trouble with submission CAW cpu logic
I am having a strange problem with my submission based CAW. She can't beat /anything/, not even a jobber most of the time that she dwarfs in points by like 80+. when balanced with the rest of my CAWs, I'd say her point amount is amoung the top 10%, though I know points aren't everything.

She's Junior/Technician, Critical Submission, Special: Overturn (she's a heel that will control mid parts of the match in theory, so i thought by letting her get these reversal boosts it'd help her rake up the damage),Ukemi is 20/10/5, discretion is 18 so she focuses on winning, flexibility is around 40 so she dosen't stray too far from the script (I've tried really hard to balance her pacing so that she's both still "in character" move wise and still working over the neck/arms, her main targets of her submission finisher),I've given her a few power signature moves and set them to go for the Pin in cpu logic when I need it, so that her finisher dosen't come out constantly and dosen't resolve every match.

the most frustrating thing here is that I am totally okay, and want her, to lose to other main eventer type wrestlers occasionally, but she probably would lose to a empty ring at this point. i'm getting the moves that i want, bizarrely enough, she just can't get submissions and cant get the 3-count when the situation arises. I'd estimate that of the MANY sims i've run today (thank you for the 800% speed setting) she's probably won less then 5% of them, and the ones that did were very very close and very very long matches.

I realize the information here is not comprehensive but I didn't want to make this a 20 page report on my CAW unless I had to, Mostly I'm just looking for any suggestions or any advice for making a decent, believeable, but not broken CPU logic for a wrestler that uses a submission move for a finisher.

If you're looking for her to win off submissions, I suggest moves that drain spirit quite well, like heel tactics, comedy moves, or MMA mounts. That and/or spike the hell out of her stretch/joint offense...

You say she's a junior/technician and you're using subs as her main attack. If you look at your move ratings in the move preview window when you're assigning moves, you can see the rating of each move attribute A,B,C,D,E and it's sub-attribute rated the same way.

You may want to try different offensive styles other then Junior style. Maybe grapple or submission style or even heel style if you're using subs and illegal moves.

The style that you want is one that is closer to A and B attribute ratings. Then your moves do more damage and take more spirit from your opponent.

I went through the same thing as you and as soon as I changed the offensive style to match the moves I gave him with high ratings, he was able to beat people.

Read this about discretion. http://www.fpwarena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=1363

I think in your case, you want it higher so you fight closer to the center of the ring (less rope break).
