How to mass delete Edits?
Hey there. I kinda realized I made an oops: prior to Carlzilla's Mod Suite support for MP3 themes for wrestlers, I manually copied Edits so that I can do this in game. Of course, his mod accomplishes what I wanted to do with greater ease and still allows the Edit to still get Workshop support, so I don't have to filter and figure out who got updated and when.

For the above reasons, I'd like to find a way to help clear up the mess I made myself. We're talking over 200 Edits, and for this reason the game is deeply laggy when I do this one by one. Couldn't I just delete my save file to fix this? Assuming so, where could I find it?

Hope asking this isn't of issue, friends.

deleting them doesn't really delete them at the moment. they stay in the retired area.

You could try the cache option in the options menu.

But I am able to delete the Edits from the Edit menu.

I'm not looking to delete them from a roster. I am looking to delete them from the game.

For example, let's say I have two Cesaros. One is the Workshop version, and one is a manually copied one so I can give him his theme. I want to remove the latter, and need a way to do it with mass groups instead of one by one, as per the cache, I have over 400 wrestlers in my game.

are you sure that deleting them actually deletes them? Any wrestler I delete remains in the retired section.

But in regards to mass deleting, I don't know of any way of doing it.

UNLESS you uploaded every wrestler you wanted to keep to your workshop/collection. Then use CarlZilla's 100% save file as a wipe? then redownload the wrestler's you want from the workshop.

Do not delete the wrestler unless it's a locally created one. If it's local this will work fine, if it's not, the game will redownload the edit and it will appear in your retired section.

In order to remove downloaded wrestlers completely you need to go into Edit -> Workshop -> Uninstall Item

This will remove the downloaded edit completely from your game.

Unfortunately deleting wrestlers is a cluster right now, as all the wrestler IDs, sortingIDs, etc. all need to be recalculated with every deletion...which is why I won't tackle it. Just too much work for something I won't use because I don't generally download from the workshop.

That should work, but you'll need to turn off Steam Cloud so the game doesn't just redownload your save from the cloud.

The save game is found in:
\Users\<YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME>\AppData\LocalLow\spikechunsoft\FireProWrestlingWorld\
