CPU Logic for top rope moves
Having difficulty getting an edit to perform his top rope finfisher (a flying lariat).

Have tweaked and changed CPU logic but he will NOT execute it and never climbs the top rope.

At the moment my settings are:

Showmanship: 75%
Discretion: 40%
Flexibility: 25%
Ascend Style: Enabled

The finishing move is mapped to the BIG button, I have made sure his parameters are decent for ability, agility and power. The technical parameters are low though (3).

For testing purposes I made it a priority attack at 100% at large damage and the move itself at 90% for large and clinical damage.....but the move is still NEVER executed.

I have similiar settings on other wrestlers (not as exagerrated) and they regularly climb the top rope?

What's going on? It's driving me nuts!!

Top rope moves can be tricky sometimes. You could try
1- Raising Showmanship and lowering discretion some more; that should increase the amount of corner/high flying moves he does some. And
2- Make sure your wreslter has some big moves that will stun/drop his opponent, rather than pins and submissions, and that the priority for those move are set high enough so he does them as setups in the right part of the match.
Setting the priority attacks aren't going to make the wrestler use the move more; it is going to determine which move the wrestler uses *after* the priority attack. Make sure the "Opp. Dazed Near Corner" setction has a high % for the lariat you want to use. It's also easy to confuse this section with the "Opp. Down Near Corner" logic settings since the moves for both positions show up in each of them; so make sure you have the right moves with the right percentages for each.

Did this and still no top rope moves. I feel like the edit might be glitched or something!

What is his fight style? It's possible that, if it's not a style proficient in flying, they will generally avoid doing them in most cases.

Does he have any strong grapples that don't cause him to take a front or back bump along with the opponent? A move that ends with him either standing or kneeling has a better chance of getting a top rope followup. For convenience's purpose it's best to use a (BIG)/〇/B grapple and not the (SML)+(MED)/□+✕/X+A move. Other moves don't have a guarantee of causing the opponent to stand up in a dazed state.

Alternately, RNG is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with you.

He has an "American" style.

RNG is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with you, then, or you need to have a setup move that ensures the opponent will get up dazed -- in other words, mainly a strong front grapple where the attacker doesn't end up downed as well.

Well I got it to work...

Had to set up like this:

Showmanship: 100%
Discretion: 0%
Flexibility: 0%

With the Diving Lariat set to 100% on large and critical damage!(!)

He now ends matches with it...it's just so odd that I had to make the CPU logic so extreme to make it happen once in a match though!!!!!! lol :)
