Which creators make edits with good AI?
I ask because AI is the most important part of an edit for me. And, admittedly, the edits have to be programmed under a singular vision (otherwise the varying AI philosophies amongst creators could result in some very lopsided matches - such as Gentleman Jack beating Braun Strohman).
(The same thing holds true for the parameters).

But that being said, which creators/authors have you found creating the best AI? The more edits we get, the more I'd like to see people reviewing based on AI (and not just appearance.)

Anyways, thanks. With nearly 10,000 edits, any guidance would be appreciated.

I've been playing fire pro since G and even when I got to returns I ignored logic. The reason was because I never simmed matches. I would place against my brother. But for world I did logic. I know I used logic once or twice in returns, but for not having experience I feel like my edits logic are good. Sometimes my Rock will do the people elbow taunt and than he does the drop. Randy strikes with his RKO when you least expect, Shibata does a gts followed by the running kick, and John Cena will give you an AA followed by an STF at times. But I cannot really judge myself. People who downloaded my edits can.

Because I am shameless and enjoy opinions on my edits, I will vouch for myself. For the most part, I tend to stick with a more King's Road styled AI, with front grapple finishers being in between 6-9, and front super finishers being a 4 or lower. Of course you gotta also take how the character would act into account, since someone, like say The Angry Video Game Nerd is a abrasive brawler type, and isn't gonna have his AI favor a technical clinic.

Here's my edits. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Professor_Voodoo/myworkshopfiles/?appid=564230

I'll vouch for my own, though I don't have many. I only create wrestlers I'm relatively familiar with, which is comprised mainly of my favorite WCW/NWO guys from the 90s. My Roddy Piper is one of the top rated wrestlers on the workshop.

All my guys have full logic and are between 180 and 215 points. Here's my collection:

Also any of the veterans from FPWArena, like Rev, Senator, DJKM, Carlzilla, etc. Those folks are all safe bets for good wrestlers.

I think the veteran tip is one of the best starting points. That's not to say diss anyone new to the game who might make killer edits, only to say that you pick up a certain amount from experience and watching the game mechanics change over time. I don't sim very much so I would not vouch for my own, but I've played Firepro for 20 years (since the SNES) and can't help but have picked up a little. If you find someone in that boat who does sim a lot, their edits will be golden. :)

What are Senator and Carlzilla's steam names? I've looked but can't find them.

For me, I only look for appearance in an edit, and I edit all of them myself to make the stats and CUP match each other. I am also particular on movesets also. Only way to be satisfied.

Senator, Desertpunk, hellboyhitscar, and djkm are very good at real life wrestler logics. Most of the FPWArena community is also good (including myself), but we mostly make original creations.

Basically for any real life wrestler anyone from the fire pro arena forum tend to do good logic we also now have japanese players as well who we might not know yet

I don't do real life wrestlers since i know i can't do them justice so i leave that to the people who do and i just make fantasy caws based on things I like or see That might be interesting to do

I've been playing Fire Pro since Advance. I try to maintain a balanced array of moves with a bit more emphasis on specials and moves I know the wrestler does/did in actual matches. I designate parameter and skill points based on the wrestler's tendancy to win (Hulk Hogan would have more points than, say, Koko B. Ware). Finally, I try to keep finishers rare, because wrestlers traditionally don't do them more than a couple times per match.

Been doing it for 16 years, simmed thousands of matches, and put time into it. Haven't gotten many complaints, but I'm always looking for educated feedback!
