Go to "Team Edit", then "Transfer Wrestler".

Ok, I have them unretired. I see I can group them into created promotions. When I attempt to do this, it wont let me move out of the SWA face/heel options. What am I doing wrong?

You have to put each wrestler in one of the teams (or start a new promotion with heels and faces).

Where are my downloaded wrestlers?
Not a single one shows up in game.

You need to transfer them from the "Retired" group to a stable.

Can't use Workshop Wrestlers?
I apologize if this has been asked. I even watched a Youtube tutorial on how to do this and it looked easy enough after I watched it. I go to the Edit Mode and Create Team. I name a team WCW. It shows up. I then go to Transfer Wrestler and click on the retired wrestlers. All of my created "teams/promotions" have a red box around them. The only promotions I can move any of these wrestlers to are the SWA Heel or SWA Babyface. I'm getting a little irritated because I must be doing something wrong in this but I cannot for the life of me figure out what. Please help!

You need to add a stable to the WCW promotion.

I can't find many wrestlers
Hello, i see wrestlers from SWA but no other group, when i go to the top option and try to cycle left and right nothing happens. Are the SWA wrestlers the only ones the game has?

Thanks.

They're the ones you start with and they're basically made up wrestlers inspired by several real ones. The real content is in the Workshop, where you can download current and past wrestlers, as well as MMA fighters, super heroes and everything else.

What you start with is pretty much your own blank canvas which you can fill up however you please. The robust character creation system, which includes fine tuning wrestler AI, lets players create pretty much anybody.

The community are hard at work creating just about every wrestler you can think of, so don't be put off by the small starting roster. You'd be amazed what the community can do with the edit tools and CPU logic.

If you want to use Workshop wrestlers, subsrcibe to them in the Workshop, then go to Edit>Team Edit>Transfer Wrestler and move them from "Retire" to another group. You can create groups yourself, too, which act as other pages in character select. To do that, go to Edit>Team Edit>Create Team. You have to create a promotion and then create a stable within that promotion before you can put any wrestlers in there.

Hope that helps. The roster this time around is pretty much crowdsourced by the Workshop community and you can find faithful recreations of previous Fire Pro roster members there, too.

You mean like you can't swap out of SWA? Yeah, the game expects you to make your own promotions (leagues) and populate them with created or downloaded fighters. Creating and sharing fighters is probably the game's biggest appeal, the workshop is already full of wrestlers just a few days in. :D

When you go into edit mode and make a fighter, they'll default to "Retire", which basically means they won't show up anywhere ingame. You can move them to a promotion, SWA or any one you've created, by going to Edit Mode -> Edit Team -> Transfer Wrestler. I think you can also transfer SWA wrestlers to different promotions this way.

Note that you may need at least one stable in a promotion to do this. For example, SWA Babyface and SWA Heel are the stables under SWA.

Thanks guys those answers are above and beyond. I appreciate it.
How do I use CAWs in the game?
I've read the sticky and the FAQ, I'm obviously overlooking some simple little thing, but i can't seem to use them in any matches, I just get the premade SWF guys. The only section where I can access them is in edit mode.

CAWs are at the beginning in the "retired" section so you have to move them first into a promotion (edit--> team edit --> move wrestler)
First you should create a promotion, then a stable. Like "WWE" and then a stable "Males" or such in that promotion.
Then you move your Caws there.

It's a little bit complicated.
