No divisions please. Don't fragment a group before it even exists.
Hey everyone. Glad the name is going over well. M.A.W. is already shaping up nicely and there's a lot of good discussion going on here.
So we've been having a discussion about the idea of Divisons and here's the current conclusion.
- Everyone will be matched under "Openweight" Rules. For those of you that follow NJPW this basically means a cruiserweight could fight a Heavyweight, JR Heavyweight, etc.
The conclusion we found is that we want everyone to be able to play whatever they want and not divide everyone into smaller groups that could potentially have very few wrestlers to compete against.
We still have a lot of other details to discuss (stables/factions being a big one) but this feels like the most fair and can always be visited again down the road. Speaking of which, that leads us to the next big step for M.A.W.
We will have an official Discord and Steam group later tonight. We still want to keep the discussion going here on an open forum, but for those who want to join the rest of us in further discussion can do so on whichever platform they find easier.
That's all for now, Stay Tuned for later tonight when we post the Discord/Steam info!
Here is the Steam Group (Public):

Feel free to keep the discussion going in here as well. This just gives us some options for everybody to use.
This is a very exciting time for the group, and I know there will be some epic Matches slated for the future episodes of...
MAW....IS....WAR!
Gensokyo Championship Wrestling.
GCW!
GCW!
Now a lot of us personally want to see faction warfare in some scope. To better facilitate this we need some ground rules for how Factions are established and run. Essentially we don't have everyone making a faction and becoming quickly bloated with too many different groups. Plus there will always be the "lone wolf" type players out there who won't associate themselves with Factions/Stables
So here are some basic ground rules for Starting Up a Faction.
- Must have 3 or more members (Two people are a tag team - not a Faction) to be considered a Faction.
- Must have a designated "Leader" or "Founder".
- Must commit to a Faction Warfare Match at least once a month to stay "Relevant".
*This can be accomplished through Tag matches as long as the FACTION is being represented by two members of the same faction.*
Those are some basics, we want this to be an area where each Faction is basically as important as a Divison without seperating the player base by who they can fight AGAINST and more uniting them with who they can fight WITH.
