No. Balancing them would be a nightmare.

You'd need to bring in four at a time, at least. One for each character. And then you'd need to balance them not only among themselves, but against each and every other weapon in the game. It is a truly stupidly huge amount of work for little payoff, and the primary reason no new weapons have been added to DRG. And that's not even taking into account the need to add frameworks to them all to match the existing ones.

They can do it in RC because anyone can get any weapon which means they don't need to be as heavily balanced and can instead be made interesting and different, with weapon and character upgrades, and occasionally bio-boosters balancing the rest of it out. Hell, the fact that they don't need to balance so many factors is part of why they made RC its own game instead of a DLC.
I feel like RC has such a boring weapons that have no personality, just generic pew pew withouth any cool OCs. And DRG weapons there suck as well lol, what they have done to poor huricane rocket launcher.. ;-; DRAK with homing projectiles (It's an upgrade) just shoots the walls and you can't control which enemy you shoot. PGL is probably the only thing that got some insane buffs there, because you can have clip magazine with 4 shots, automatic fire, and ungodly damage.
Every time I played Rogue Core, I felt the opposite. Just give me my Engi weapons already, damn RNG!
Ok

Give gunner and engi all the weapons since reclaimers arn't miners

Rogue Core reminds me of playing Borderlands 2, and how burnt out I got from doing the post-game UVHM where if you didn't have the right kit you'd have a bad time.

I remember seeing early footage of Rogue Core of someone running around with a fully-automatic SMG that has 7 round magazines because stats, upgrades and roguelike progression hurrrrrr hurrr! Yeah. So. Immersive. My muhhhshunn glands were overwhelmed.

The devs never bothered to balance the guns we currently have. Adding more unbalanced crap would not make a difference. Reminder that the devs don't play haz 5 and therefore don't even TRY to balance for the whole game.
i think most of the new guns could easily be implemented into the four current class, Deep rock as so much potential !

I like the rogue core it is fun but much less than the first game, i miss the openess and complexity of the maps, it is a different game .

I wish they would copy the talent system too .. maybe a bit op but it would be nice.. just give us haz 6-7-8 to compensate !
Rogue Core is a great way to stress test new weapons, so would not be surprised if they get added to DRG at some point.

All updates DRG gets are free, they have not sold DLC's with gameplay content before.

I think the testing process is too different for it to translate over. They handle differently and don't have OCs etc.

The devs have said that they main reason they don't add more weapons is each class then needs the existing and future cosmetics and frames designed for them. And then unique and meaningful OCs made to equal the number every other weaon has. It's a massive undertaking and entirely different than RC. Those weapons were designed to be less "special" and easier to mix and match. No cosmetics, very small pool of upgrades that are the equivalent of OCs.

If we're very very lucky we may someday get one new weapon each but frankly I'd be pretty surprised if that happened. DRG put a lot of emphasis on the weapons, not the dwarves, so it means that since it's the main event they gotta make sure they're dialed in just right.
