Kind of wish there was an option for no spiders

I understand the spiders are a huge part of the game (need an adversary) but oh man I hate spiders or anything creepy crawly. I kind of wish there were evil dwarfs or anything that wasn't spiders (feel like Indiana Jones with snakes).

I really like the digging through rocks aesthetic to this game, but being overwhelmed with spiders is the one thing that keeps me from wanting to play the game.

Kind of weird, I know.

I didn't ask them to change their game. People have this really weird tendency to suppose certain desires upon other people that were never originally intended or said, almost as if every post is a personal attack on someone's personal beliefs instead of just someone's opinion. Like I said before, I thought the spider-like creatures were probably one of many mobs. They turned out to be the main mob. My mistake, and I said I'd just have to live with that.

To be fair, all the videos and pictures on the store page show a bunch of bugs, so it should be obvious they are the main enemies.

Those are not spiders. Google spider then compare it to a screenshot of a Glyphid.

Completely different structure, i am not an entomologist or anything but even I know a spider and whatever category of insect Glyphids may fall into are veeery different things

My first reaction was alien spiders... legs aside they just give me that impression. The allah akbar nids especially.

No, He's asking if its changable. l4D has mods that change infected into all kinds of stuff. Maybe thats available for DRG

What kind of mental gymnastics did you go thru before arrive at that conclusion friend? He wished there was an option to turn off the bugs. OP knows its not in the current game based on the wording of the OP. Mods don't come into the picture but would indeed be a valid suggestion had there be one.

I think OP has a point. He has a phobia and he can't help it. Satisfactory has an arachnaphobia mod that turns all spiders into cat heads (which is even more creepy i think).

And yes, glyphids are certainly are arachnids. They have eight legs and one even spits out webs.
