Diamond rewards

I know that the new currency doesnt really change anything about the game but it would be nice to possibly gain diamonds from rewards. Either through daily missions or through random draft rewards or whatever.

It would give f2p players something to grind and say eventually buy the welcome pack or something and make everyone happy. Everyone seems to be crying right now so i dont see how this would be a bad idea.

Even if it was just say in draft which has a bunch of random rewards, one of them could be 2-3 diamonds.

That's what gold is for. Sure, it would be nice to be able to earn that currency, but this currency is simply a middle man for dollars as a means of circumventing mobile platform revenue cuts.

Please not!!!! Then it would be even harder to buy anything, because you will end with the same amount of currency BUT 50% Gold and 50% Diamond. As long as you are not able to pay with both currency for one "thing" (which will never ever coming) this is a bad, bad idea.

Just a couple of diamonds here and there. maybe even for ranking nations. Just to get the starter offer which is like 10 packs for 40 some diamonds.

It's likely not going to happen..
The devs are using Diamonds as their new source of income.
For all i know, they might add 'Oil' if they decide to "drill" for even more income later?
If the devs ever read this, I have dibs on the Oil scheme if you know what i mean..
