It's most likely going to be available for a while now that Konami is selling more Metal Gear games on Steam.
And now people realize that while MG Survive might not be a good Metal Gear game, it's a good survival game with solid co-op multiplayer.
Unfortunately, playing offline will never be possible since it is a security measure to stop players from cheating and forces them to gather resources through grinding in single player and grinding online to gather bountiful resources in multiplayer coop.
It's got some issues due to being live service game but overall I agree... I had a lot of fun with the single player aspect at least.
That's some of the worst reasoning.
"We have to burden the game for you, the player, in case you decide you want to play the game a different way that might make it more fun for you and affects nobody else".
