because Borderless Windowed Mode allows switching to other applications / desktop more efficiently, without stutters / screen flickering / resolution resetting / etc.
Windowed mode is also acceptable for me, but currently the Windowed mode hides the mouse cursor, and makes the game window unmovable, that is not good.
You can rebind L2 and R2 in the in-game Options.
I've got every confidence that Durante will fix this, I just wanted to put this out there since you and quite a few other people seem pretty enthusiastic about borderless windows and there are tons of games that don't support them and have similar issues as you just described :)
I won't directly link to it here as I don't mean to self-promote or anything like that; if you're interested you can find this on my profile.
Yes, They were able to include the Japanese text as an option for those who wish to have it. You can find it in the configuration launcher.
And i don't have the skip intro/logos checked either...
-Thumbstick axes are broken/not working properly. There's multiple threads about this, but basically, the games seems to have issue with diagonal movement on controllers.
-Dialogue text regularly overflows outside the boxes. Looks like it might be a scaling issue?
-In any instance where you can select the number of something, part of the up/down arrow above/below the numbers is covered up by the UI box behind it.
-Some animations play super fast. I don't think this will get fixed because it's probably tied to framerate, but it's there.
-Controller button icons have some scaling issues and can get blurry and (nitpicking), the Xbox controller icons are too dark. I (personally) liked the monochrome ones you had in the dialogue reveal trailer.
learn from my fail people....
I think you can try disabling the intro and opening in the configuration launcher and see if that helps to avoid the crash?
i was just stupid
No need to be hard on yourself, at least it's working now. :D
After restarting, the game would run much more laggy and stuttery than before. Only restarting PC fixed this.
Later the biggest hiccup was when talking to the butler Klaus for the first time. The same problem triggered at the same spot every time: screen freezing, sounds and inputs continuing for a while at least.
Turning MSAA to none actually fixed this for now.
I've identified and fixed the text prompt issue. It will be resolved in the next version.
(Likely released within the next 24 hours from this post)
