For most people it doesn't add any stutter at all(or some people blame FAR for the stutters that happen when loading the various zones, which is actually a limitation of the game engine and is not really solvable), and for those that do experience more stutter using FAR, the solution is to either use a previous version of FAR, or use the global Special K since it's more updated than the most recent standalone FAR.

Special K is well known for that.
