Why is A2 called A2 and not 2A like 2B and 9S ?
Seriously, this is borderline game breaking.

If you are seriously curious and haven't beaten the game yet, you should know that the answers to that question will go into spoiler territory.
Massive spoiler territory

Maybe it means “All to be nice”(A2 2B 9S)

Because philosophy shenanigans.

Also A2 was a prototype and if you look at history, most prototypes are finished with different names.

2B is also a pencil. 9S is also a pen. There is no 2A stationery equivalent, so they went with A2, which means A2-sized paper.

That's how I rationalize it anyway.
This actually makes so much sense ! Thank you, you made the game so much better.
