Credits Ending Minigame

Is there a way to complete this credits minigame before Ending E without being online?

Ive passed this ♥♥♥♥♥♥' credits, but... maybe one day you wanted to play it offline, right?

Guess I'm SOL then. Over the holidays I finally got the time to play this game, but of course on the 25th my internet connection breaks down. For NieR that wasn't a problem until know, but that totally sucks that I now have to wait up to TWO MORE WEEKS before they send out a technician and I can finally get this ending.

Cheat Engine can't circumvent scripts of that kind, as far as I know.

Actually. I did it with cheat engine. first I scanned for integer value 3, let myself being hit. scanned for 2. got hit. Scanned for 1. found only one, i rewrote this value to 254. it did not graphically change anything but i could get hit and survive. with those 254 lives i have to tell.
It is impossible to beat alone without cheating, you will soon or later get a purple bullet pattern that cannot be dodged. And your bullets cannot reach target. I had to Go inside into each of the text lines to hit them. So here it is, only way to beat it solo.

That said, the PC version sadly includes a bug that causes the game to crash on the 21st death, which doesn't help a lot.

Everyone whom cares about it. Although they obviously won't get the "full" experience, as the help from other players is a key component of the experience.

I know its full of meaning... but at least they could have placed a virtual help after 20th or 3th try...

I'm doing another playthrough of the game to hammer down the mechanics and because I hate myself, I guess. When I get to that ending again, I'll test something.

I've had a sneaking suspicion it does include such a feature - I'll try turning on the Network, but unplugging my cord before hand. I'll bet a boatload that it does have some pre-baked virtual help built-in for just such an occassion.

Or maybe not, and Yoko Taro really is the biggest troll to ever develop a video game. Which honestly wouldn't surprise me at this point.
